- Lewis Moore - Don't do Europe without RickMy wife and I have been to Europe 4 times in the last 10 years. The most important companion for us is Rick Steves. Every time I go I purchase other guide books, but when it comes down to the best advice and recommendations, you cannot beat Rick. The Rome book is very thorough and every place He recommended came as he said, never over glossed, just honest advice. He also has the best advice on transportation needs which is where most guide books fail. Getting around Rome was a breeze with his directions.
Great book!! - F. Sasso "Stupidity Should Hurt" - One of the Best Albums EverThis is so underrated and one of the best records ever made. I remember when it was released in 1977 and being blown away. I had a modest audio system at the time but a good set of head phones and when the needle hit the vinyl I was gone. It was almost like a drug experience. When the album got to Dogs I swore I was tripping on acid. I was extremely lucky to be able to see this tour here at Soldier Field in Chicago, an experience that is hazy but unforgettable.
- Danny Bauman - Beautiful phone, it's a joy to use!The Lumia 920 is a beautiful phone, Windows Phone 8 is a joy and the personalized start screen with live tiles is awesome, I love it.
Other people have said that it's too heavy, other people have said that there aren't enough apps for Windows Phone, but neither of those complaints come near to the goodness you get from the thoughtful design and amazing quality of the Lumia hardware and Windows Phone. - Connie Stennett "cjs4jc" - Guiness World Records 2011I purchased 2 of these as Christmas gifts for 2 of my 9 yr old grandchildren, a boy and a girl. They were both very excited as soon as they opened the package, and stopped to read some of the pages, even though they had more gifts to open. The pages are beautifully photographed or illustrated...very colorful. Even though this book is recommended for age 12 and above, The 2 9 yr. olds who received this as a gift are very smart in school and read above grade level. It was an excellent choice for both of them!
