- Kimberly - Fits right into my banana hammock!!Love this product! I slice my bananas every morning while on the go and shove this thing right into my banana hammock no problem!! You have no idea how many banana slicers !'ve purchased in the past that were just to small! They just couldn't fill my banana hammock up at all!! It would be so loose and dangly and the slicers would just fall right out. Thank Hutzler!
- Solveig - Its amazing!!!I love love love this machine!!! I have suffered from hirtutism for multiple years, I have started and stopped going to the professionals for hair laser treatment (as it was to expensive for me). I finally, and after much research, bought the Remington IPL light machine. I have used it for two months now, and I am proud to say you can hardly see any reminants of once was dark patches with black thick hairs. I am soo happy with this product that i am telling everyone!! I even told my doctor so that he could let other patients of this product know. I feel soo good about how i look now, i can even go with out the concealer if needed!!.
- Tracy F. "Roundtable Reviews" - Simple for AnyoneI usually back up my writing work on Google Doc. I don't tend to store a lot of music, photos, or pertinent documentation on my computer. Given that, my son's been telling me for years that I need to start saving my files more often. I'm computer savvy, so it's not the actual technology that bothers me, it's simply my lack of time. There are not enough hours in the day to remember to back up files when I've just spent six hours typing up articles on the different subjects. I don't want to have to remember to then grab something and save what I've done. The Seagate Backup Plus ends that.
You can read the specs on Amazon, so I'll gloss over that by simply saying 500GB is a lot of space. There is apparently a program you can install with the Backup Plus, but I didn't bother with it because I know what I'm doing. If you do need a detailed, step-by-step program with a help screen, or want one-click saving of Facebook or other social media sites, this dashboard program makes it possible.
This is a tiny device, not much larger than my cell phone. Simply plug it in, copy your files to the external hard drive, and you're done. It takes seconds. Plus, the size is perfect and fits into the small pocket on the inside of my computer bag.
Seagate Backup Plus works with XP, Vista, Windows 7, and Mac OS X 10.6 or higher. Those are the only specifications I could find, and as my laptop is 7 years old and my son claims very archaic, I'm betting that your computer will easily be compatible. - Katharine H. Shanahan - I really connected to this bookAs I was reading this I felt there were so many echoes of what I've experienced as a woman--for instance, the really hard work of making necessary compromises within a marriage. Talking about this is an important aspect of understanding what relationships are about and I don't think people really give this enough thought. I know my parents didn't talk to me about it and how it's a part of making a marriage work. Plus, the message that comes out is that when you give something you get something and that's a fundamental element to growth.
But beyond the message, the book is a great read, with a strong, compelling narrative. There are wonderful metaphors through out, and the best one is the overarching metaphor for the author's journey--taking a parched piece of land and creating a field of beautiful flowers. I think that any woman not living in a suburban bubble could completely identify.
